About

I built this website to put down some activities and reflections. Not sure how this will turn out, but for the moment, I’m motivated enough to set it up, and may perhaps continue to post things on here. I figure that it’s better to put these reflections on my own site, where I can delete them if I need to (although I guess some trace of this wil stay online forever). It also gives me a chance to let out the ‘inner nerd’ who just loves to work with the nuts and bolts of the Internet (see, I capitalise it, although I probably shouldn’t (Markham and Baym 2009: vii)).

I’m hoping that eventually this will become my own personal repository online. I’ll put up my presentations, some early thoughts on different subjects – mainly focusing on my research interests, but probably also delving into some reflections on teaching and university life in general.

Anyway, if you are reading this, you’re probably a bit curious as to how it is created. The site is developed using Quarto. Currently just using the default settings for everything, but may get a bit adventurous as and when time allows.
